Happy New Year to everyone. This is the first time that i "celebrated" new year countdown outside of Singapore. Kinda miss each and everyone of my friends and family back there. I will be back soon to meet u guys. =)

Went to Suzhou with LV and our colleague, Daisy. Din really travel around. Met Daisy's ex-colleague, Xia Hui, at his apartment. His apartment is located at Suzhou-Singapore collaboration industrial district. The entire structure of the apartment looks exactly like the houses in Singapore which makes me feel once again that i'm back home. The shops at the void deck and every things. It feels kinda warm in my heart although these few days had been extremely extremely cold (3 to -4 degree C).

In fact, most of the time we spent there was eating. Had a God-damn spicy lunch, followed by a high-tea session at a very very nice ambience restaurant and immediately dinner at some not so nice dim-sum outlet. I felt so damn bloated until i want to vomit. The high-tea session was great as we sat down and ordered our beverages. The best part was that u can get a free cakes of your choice with any drinks being ordered. How cool. Then our conversation topic lied between Singapore and China. Btw, Suzhou is much much beautiful compared to Wuxi.

At night, we strolled to a park where there is a musical fountain. Strolling under a freezing temperature with a strong wind is totally madness. Your face will feel as though it is cut by thousands of knife when the strong brushes across you. Your limb will feel very numb followed by a sharp pain.

Last night, our department had a dinner session in a hotel. Seriously, i hate to eat with them because i simply dislike huge intake of liquors or beer. I wont mind if the amount was within half a bottle. In China, creating a din during dinner is very common. They will be very rude to the waiters and waitress but they wont mind at all. My department is rather big as it includes everyone in the factory as well. Maybe because of the difference in position; what we are looking for is good food but what they are looking for is large amount of liquors and beer. They want to create "QI FEN" which seems very rowdy to me.

One thing i hate most is they like to compared us with the previous batch of OIAP students, saying that they (refers only to Agnes) can drink very well. One bottle of red wine is no kick (She was drunk after which). Moreover, no one pushed or toasted with her. She just kept drinking and drinking. It's really damn irritating each and every time when there is a dinner with the factory side. They kept on emphazing that you must drink and drink because last batch of students can drink. Let say, we replace beer or liquor with pure water, how would you feel? Damn bloated and full isnt it? How about alcoholic drinks which makes you not only full and bloated but also fasting heart beating, redness or dizziness. All because alcoholic drinks is dirt cheap.

Anway, i'll to thank everyone who gave their wonderful wishes to me. 2007 had been a bad year for me due to the fact someone who is very important to me has left for a better place and some other matters. No 2008 resolution for me but i hope this year will be better than last year.

Once again, HAppy New YEar.......
