Happy New Year to everyone. This is the first time that i "celebrated" new year countdown outside of Singapore. Kinda miss each and everyone of my friends and family back there. I will be back soon to meet u guys. =)

Went to Suzhou with LV and our colleague, Daisy. Din really travel around. Met Daisy's ex-colleague, Xia Hui, at his apartment. His apartment is located at Suzhou-Singapore collaboration industrial district. The entire structure of the apartment looks exactly like the houses in Singapore which makes me feel once again that i'm back home. The shops at the void deck and every things. It feels kinda warm in my heart although these few days had been extremely extremely cold (3 to -4 degree C).

In fact, most of the time we spent there was eating. Had a God-damn spicy lunch, followed by a high-tea session at a very very nice ambience restaurant and immediately dinner at some not so nice dim-sum outlet. I felt so damn bloated until i want to vomit. The high-tea session was great as we sat down and ordered our beverages. The best part was that u can get a free cakes of your choice with any drinks being ordered. How cool. Then our conversation topic lied between Singapore and China. Btw, Suzhou is much much beautiful compared to Wuxi.

At night, we strolled to a park where there is a musical fountain. Strolling under a freezing temperature with a strong wind is totally madness. Your face will feel as though it is cut by thousands of knife when the strong brushes across you. Your limb will feel very numb followed by a sharp pain.

Last night, our department had a dinner session in a hotel. Seriously, i hate to eat with them because i simply dislike huge intake of liquors or beer. I wont mind if the amount was within half a bottle. In China, creating a din during dinner is very common. They will be very rude to the waiters and waitress but they wont mind at all. My department is rather big as it includes everyone in the factory as well. Maybe because of the difference in position; what we are looking for is good food but what they are looking for is large amount of liquors and beer. They want to create "QI FEN" which seems very rowdy to me.

One thing i hate most is they like to compared us with the previous batch of OIAP students, saying that they (refers only to Agnes) can drink very well. One bottle of red wine is no kick (She was drunk after which). Moreover, no one pushed or toasted with her. She just kept drinking and drinking. It's really damn irritating each and every time when there is a dinner with the factory side. They kept on emphazing that you must drink and drink because last batch of students can drink. Let say, we replace beer or liquor with pure water, how would you feel? Damn bloated and full isnt it? How about alcoholic drinks which makes you not only full and bloated but also fasting heart beating, redness or dizziness. All because alcoholic drinks is dirt cheap.

Anway, i'll to thank everyone who gave their wonderful wishes to me. 2007 had been a bad year for me due to the fact someone who is very important to me has left for a better place and some other matters. No 2008 resolution for me but i hope this year will be better than last year.

Once again, HAppy New YEar.......

Hi folks, Merry Christmas to everyone who reads this post. This is the first time that i am not celebrating christmas with my friends in Singapore. Kinda miss the festive mood and occasion as China doesn't celebrate such season although some shops had decorations. Yesterday was a off day for me as the company is doing annual stock-taking.

Brought some gifts for my colleagues. Made quite a hole in my pocket but it for a good cause. Waited for 1 1/2 hour just to eat pizza @ pizza hut. We had to wait outside with the freezing cold weather.

Thanks you folks whom wishes me. I will be back in 5 more weeks. I'm very eager to see u guys again and i know u guys are very eager to see me too. Tons of gathering, mahjong, clubbing, chilling to do. =)

31oct(mon) and 1 jan (tue) will be the next holiday for me, which means to say this comin sat and sun i have to work. How pathetic right? Alot of my colleagues are clearing leave hence 29-30 i guess alot of people will be missing from work. We can apply but money will be deducted and it's a quite a sum so we got no choice but to continue "working" =(

Today, i went to shanghai science and technology musuem together with 21 other colleagues as well as 30 plus children from the wuxi society for the disabled and needys. It's a CIP, anyway we are free during the weekends so why not take this chance to do some community service as well as exploring the place.

We were supposed to reach shanghai about 12pm but at 9am, the entire expressway linking from shanghai, wuxi, suzhou and nanjing is closed due to very thick fog. The visibility is very poor and hence it is very dangerous to travel when u can't even see how far r u away from the car infront of you.

Stuck in the traffic for an hour and finally, the fog is disappearing. We managed to reach our destination on time. Gotten 4 hours to roaming the entire place. This musuem is very big, with alot of things to explore ranging from wild life, quatum physics, human body, outer space, energy conservation, technology to life sciences. Since this musuem is in shanghai hence every single information comes not only in chinese but english as well.

The children in this society are either kids that were abandoned by their parents, or orphans. Some of them are prefectly healthy while some are disabled in certain ways. Rain, a colleague in my department had decided to look after this little kid who is damn cute. Initially, i thought this kid was a little guy but it turns out to be a little girl. She is only 4-years old and her name is called 'yang fei'. Rain had difficulties handling her so i helped out. BTW, look after this little kid is extremely heavy. Aaron, from engineering helped out as well. He also have difficulties carrying her. But overall, exploring the place with this little kid is really fun and meaningful. Getting such chances are rare.

The robots are grooving along with the music.

A robot which can play the piano while u can have a karoke session. The teams who came up with all these robots are really marvellous. To program such a robot is really very difficult. I treied before and i almost vomitted blood.

MORE BIRDS, MORE LUCK~!!!

little cutey who never fails to smile and show a victory sign whenever a camera is flash out. It sounded like that 'little cutey' is me. Hahahaa. She showed it but was cut off by the picture.

Counting down for my return to Singapore: 7 weeks.
