WELCOME to The Samuel Times - A production of SPH ( Samuel Press Holdings)
Last tuesday Typhoon Wipha hits Wuxi and its neighbourhood town such as Shanghai and Nanjing. The rain wasn't that big but the wind is very strong. We still went out for dinner although there is typhoon and it's very cold!!! Damn freezing. Luckily the typhoon came and went off at a short period of time. We were hoping that we can stop work for a day beacause of the weather condition as some of the companies stop functioning for a day and all schools were closed for a day as well. Bad news is that we still have to resume work.Friday, LV's BF came from his university to visit us.Btw, China have a few hundreds university around hence they have plenty of university graduates everywhere. Saturday, the technician came over to our apartment to install internet as there is some problem in the noon. If he came early, we could have gone out earlier. Wrecked our brain and we finally decided to go to nearby city called Changzhou for their reknown Dinosaur Theme Park. Gotta a chance to sit their latest bullet train. Damn comfortable and fast. Only 20 mins or less journey. =)

Our destination-chang zhouHeard from Lv that this is xiaoyang's hometown. His parents owe a big hotel here, several apartments and a saloon. How cool is that.We took cab from the train station which is cost around 16 RMB.To our dismay when we got there, IT'S CLOSED!!!! THEY CLOSED SO EARLY ON A WEEKEND!!!

A 5-star hotel besides the dinosaur theme park. Well, the admission ticket is kinda expensive 120rmb.
Thankfully, Lv's friend named Cheng Dan who is a student in NP and studied ME stayed somewhere there. Her family is filthy rich. Her mum owe a gymnasium, hotel, a factory, a bird-breeding farm, several apartments. Her father owes another factory. She brought us to her mum hotel for dinner. Tasted some of the specialities and her mum told me that i looked like malaysian -_-!!!!. It wasn't as grand as wad u think. It's just some ordinary 2-3 star hotel but still better than nothing.
After dinner, she brought us to her house and then her mum show us her gymnasium nearby. It's well-equipped with all the gyming stuff and yoga rooms etc. Then since it's only 8 plus and we are currently at a town called Dan Yang and it's countryside hence there isn't any entertainment at that point of time besides strolling. At night, the weather is freezing. It's really a nice experience to see how rich countryside people live. Cheng dan told us that her mum reputation is so great that whatevery conversation they made in the dining table, a few minutes later the whole town will know. After strolling, we got back to the hotel and settle down for a night. The next day, we went to cheng dan's house for breakfast. Malt porridge is very delicious. The weather is bad cos it's raining which means to say we can't go to dinosaur theme paark. SIANZZZZZZZ!! In the end, cheng dan's father's company driver drove us to the train station. We reached this town called Dan Yang. This town is also called as "Glasses City". Right outside of the train station is one while building and a stretch of streets selling different types of glassess at a very very very cheap price. Hence not wanting to waste the chance, i went to made a new pair. After much consideration, i decided on this blue specs which cost only 130 rmb. But the problem is we are short of time as we are catching a train. Moreover, i need to check my eye-sight plus i need to remove my contact lenses and this procedure is very time-consuming. So we decided not to buy. =( Took a lousy and old train back to Wuxi.
Brought this leaf art which resembles a butterfly from an old uncle on the street. It costs 5 rmb. It's really beautiful and he also know how to make other animals such as snakes and grasshopper. =)I subscribed to mobtv so that i can watch hey gorgeous and news. $30sgd... ex man...This week have to work 7 days... SIanzzzz but the next week entire week no work cos of national day... shiok!!!!
