Was expecting my negotiation to get an A but in the end.... my IS pull my result down. But overall i think i'm ok. Thank God for it.

2nd week have passed.

Dinner with my customer service department plus operation manager. It's a restaurant in town. They ordered once again alot of food. 9 plates of cold dishes, 9 plates of hot food and 2 dimsums. The food is seriously delicious. I was supposed to take the company bus to town but due to my sotong-ness, i boarded the wrong company bus. In the end, i alighted at some place and my supervisor picked me up with his battery-operated bike. In China, most of them own a battery-operated bike. Each charge can last u for 40km. The traffic here is seriously no law man. Everyone drive like no body business. It's so dangerous. Before we reached the restaurant, he went to a supermarket and brought few bottles of red wine and beer. In China, outside drink is not prohibited. We settled down in this private room with nice ambience.

Well, all the guys have to drink liquor so i have no choice but to blend in. In their tradition, toasting is a must. Throughtout the meal, u will see people toasting to one another. Luckily, i dun have to empty the whole glass if not i GG haha. But as usual, my face turned red after a few glasses. Listening to their conversation is interesting. At the end of the meal, the bill was RMB600 plus which is SGD100 plus. 9 person with 20 plus dishes. How cheap is that!!! LOL. Looking forward to the next gathering with other dept for mid-autumn festival.

Btw the company is going to give us 200RMB (SGD 40 ) carrefour shopping voucher for mid-autumn festival. We mostly likely will use it to buy our stuff as we go carrefour so often like uncle and auntie looking at the prices and items. Which detergent is cheap and good? Which toilet paper or tissue is worth it? Which items got discounts?

Everyday we have to crack our brain and think of places to have dinner cos the variety near our house is very limited. Mostly fried rice or normal noodles which we grew sick of it at only the 2nd week in China. I miss chicken rice, duck rice, nasi lemark, prata, satay, fish bee hoon, hokkien mee, carrot cake, fishball noodles, oyster omettlee and many more. Here all PORK PORK PORK or BEEF BEEF BEEF or CHICKEN.

Had dinner in this restaurant called hao zhi ke beef restaurant in town. They have free flow of salad and fruits. The beef steak is very nice and the whole place is very nice. Soup with garlic bread and freshly mix red tea is also served. Their service is good and also the place can served net for free although i reckon we will bring our heavy lappies to town. All the road here are under construction and i can say they have poor management seriously. They constructed the road and made the whole town very dusty and polluted. Heard from my colleagues that it will be done by end of the month. Other roads here are very beautiful as the plants at the side beautify the entire place. Maybe because olympics is coming hence they are emphasizing in greenery but beijing is quite far away from here.

The experience i have here is really very fresh, everytime i experience different things and it's very different from Singapore. Take taxi is called DA DI here. Company bus is called Can Che, dunno why also.

Tml lv ying's friend will be coming from nanjing university to visit us. Afternooon going back to grundfos to help the warehouse personnel in stock taking as well as gather information for our report. Sunday should be going to Shanghai for shopping.

Btw, we gotta a chance to visit our supplier's factory today as we followed 2 of the QC inspector. The factory is seriously very vevry very terrible. It's hell, the place is so noisy and the workers are not equipped with ear-plugs. Shall post some pics. It's a fresh experience though. Tons of pics for my report but little thing to write. Our company is the No 1 pump supplier in the whole world. Our factory is an assembly factory hence we get to see how they inspect diff parts, assembly of diff types of pumps, balancing test, water hydralic test, performance test, packaging, spraying of paint, etc etc.

Why why love aka huan huan ai is nice to watch. =)
