Went for k lunch with gilbert, bj, elaine, pei wen, wee keat and andrew. We shared the same room. It's fun as we haven been k-ing for a long period of time since the departure of kenneth. Been missing all the sings that i wanted to sing. The food was really delicious except for the veggies. Sang till 2 plus and we went chased out. The new staffs were really disappointed in terms of service and attitude. Felt kinda irritated by them. Bj and gilbert left as they had something onHence the rest of us went to city hall as andrew wanna buy his stuffs... Wanted to catch a movie at marina square but there wasn't any shows that is worth watching. Roamed around the whole place and then we went to suntec.. Andrew brought an addidas cap which cost like 50 bucks and i try it for a while... i looked so non-chinese... maybe elaine or natalie's blog got more of that pics... Peiwen left around 9 plus cos she needs to return home while andrew have to go back camp for guard duty so only left wk, nat,elaine and me... We went to esplanade to find a good place to watch fireworks... There were several problems we encountered like the growing amount of crowds and the detouring of routes. But luckily, we managed to find a good place. On the other hand, it started to drizzle and alot of people started to seek for shelter but we din... Some photos taken...
Waited for close to 2 hours, the dazzling firework erupted. Before that, there were several short fireworks display at some building at shenton way... The fireworks lasted for 8 mins. It's really beautiful and this beautiful moment makes me think of all the stuffs that happened in this entire year. Come to think of it, 2006 wasn't a really good year for me but from all of this, i became more mature compared to the past and learn how to deal with it. Happiness is always short-lived which is exactly like the fireworks display. It explods and die off almost immediately... What can we really expect in life??? After the display, my mood kinda changed as i kept thinking of the unhappy happenings in 2006... Does new year resolutions really worked??Why are i being so pessimistic at this point of the year when everyone is so happy about it... Is "Happy New Year" actually true?? i just hope this year will be a better one for me...
It's time to forget about the past and move over with my new life in 2007... who knows what is gonna happen to me and the ones around but what is true was that life is full of changes... Tommorrow i will be fine... =)
