Singapore beat Thailand in an unglourious way due to the unfair judgement from the kelong referee. 2-1... on the other hand, thailand is not ethical in treating the suitation as they protested the referee by not entering the field and it lasted for 10 mins... Shame on you... i think the players are just too childish... boring.. BOOO!!!!

Saturday...

Had church and this time round wee keat came. It's a good sign... haa... left around 7 to meet my nic... was late cos of the asean cup... we had dinner at MOF ( minstry of food). The food is nice and relatively cheap. The desserts were nice as well...




After that, we decided to slack around esplanade and we went to the sky garden above esplanade. Call me mountain tortoise or whatever as i had never been there before and in fact the place is very nice.. nice scenic and windy... Chilled and took some photos... and got chased off by the police after a while..

After sending her back, i rushed off to tampines to meet elaine, andrew, andy and natalie... They lost their way even thought andrew is driving... WTH!! in the end i got there earlier than them... -_-!!! Watched apocalyto... afro show... M18 and andy is underage.. this bugger kept on talking about why can he enter the threatre when he was underage loudly... The show was spoken in a language that no one understand... Jungle language... it's a very interesting show but the fighting and slaughtering part was very disgusting and sickening... 4 out of 5 stars... after which, we went to thomas prata house for supper.. Chilled and slacked until 4am plus...

Sunday...

Went for sunday school with boon jeow... he left in the afternoon for SHE autograph session at J8... Johnson and i followed the rest of our church pals to bao shun house for a farewell lunch as he is leaving to Australia in 9 Feb... Gonna miss him... cheerful guy... =) ... Stayed there until 4pm plus then i gonna rushed off to meet peiwen, bj, nat, jia qing, gilbert and elaine. We are going to singapore conference hall to watch combined band concert which consisted of serangoon sec, ahmad ibrahim sec, bartley sec, jun yang sec and balestier hill sec. Our sch band strength had increased and also in terms of playing wise, they had also improved... they can achieve silver and if they play with more feeling in it, they can get a gold... ended around 8 plus and we went to eat indian food... haha... stupid sound clip and now everytime i see indian store, i feel like asking the uncle for pork curry or nasi babi... hahahaa... super funny...

Tml no school... SHIOK AH!!!

Today is the day where there will be no more projects. Everything is over... what a relief... test today was ok... 38/50 .... below my expectation... but at least it's better than fail as i only studied the answer sheets which is 200 over pages by memorising. Yesterday, squash was very tiring as we spent more of the time running. Elaine is super turn off when daryl asked all of us to do court run when before that i forced her to run the track 3 rounds with me... hahaha... i'm motivating her to slim down... Coach came down and i decided to change my grip again... now it looks like a bumble bee and it's single grip now... train until my fingers have blisters... So rushed home asap to study my CAM and i fell asleep while reading... haha... after that, everyone rushed over to CAD room to complete our CAD drawing and printing. Every room is super packed and noisy... CAD simply sucks as i have been going there like million of time to do the stupid drawing and now it's finally over... phew...

Went to pierce my ear, it's kinda painful and i looked damn beng now... sian... i dun wanna be chao ah beng... maybe diamond earring looks nicer on me... i wonder how girls can take such stuff... so ma fan... die la.. dunno how to face my church mates tml... sure kena shoot... =(

Thanks alot to those who came and support my booth today especially wee fong and benny who came all the way from NUS just to buy my yummy hotdogs.. A big thank you to those who came to buy from me yesterday and today. Sales was good today... Sold about 80 hotdogs today. Initially, we thought losses was be incured as our selling price is too low to cover our expeditures but in the end we managed to have a profit of $20 pus which is a blessings. Profit in our business had never crossed my mind since the begining but now it has been proved to be the other way round. I am very satisfied with it. Moreover, there is another booth which is also selling similar items although ours is nicer.. haha... Super shagged after the whole thing has come to an end...

No arena today.... sian... Singapore Vs Malaysia is plain boring. EPL matches are far much nicer to watch than this... from what i can see, Singapore team is not performing as expected and in fact it's way below standard. Nevermind, 2nd leg is our turn to be home and they will definitely have a better performance.

Been really busy these few days.. especially for the preparation for today's test...
Went to church on saturday. Went to zhi qiang's house to watch liverpool vs chelsea, movie, play x-box and mahjong... Super happy that chelsea had lost and also to see the dark face of jose mourihno... mahjong kinda lucky... i'm a noob in mahjong but yet still can game... =)

Had sunday school and now i'm not longer in ABC but retained back to M4... it's better though.. Had tons of assignment to complete and to study for mon's test yet i'm too tired and nothing seem to enter my brain...

Today was the offical opening of my I&E and thanks to all my good buddies who supported me. Tommorrow hope u can support me again cos it's really cheap for hotdogs and drinks @ $1.50... especially jeannie who ran away... u must buy from me.. and seriously it's really delicious.. Our group wasn't in the mood to sell as we had the freaking test at 5.15pm and viva at 2pm... Sales was so-so and hopefully tommorrow will be better if not we gonna suffer losses... haha the test simply suck.. i almost fell asleep while thinking at the begining... really close to Zzz but thanks to the calls from ting ting who made mi awake again... It's either i passed marginally or fail... but since it's over... i can burn this stupid book away.... no more engineering design...

My project is finally submitted... ED really suck to the core... mon got viva plus common test... after mon, i gotta burn the whole book away... NP open house was alright today... got taufik batisah and project superstars top 4 finalists but it's a pity cos the project superstar finalists din sing any song and the whole time they were just being questioned by the MC. Daren and Diya who are going for the grand final left early. They were supposed to appear at 6pm but they only turn up at 6.30pm... Song composing club have very good singers and one of them is NP idol. She sang If i Ain't got you, she is powerful but when reaching the high part, she kept her mouth close to the microphone and it makes the whole place damn piercing and noisy... NRA performances were superb. Damn nice... Taufik batisah latest album is good... alot of nice songs... Concert band got percussion ensemble and all of them wore their sec sch uniform... interesting but weird... the whole atrium is quite happening... yesterday there were free swenson ice-cream and today free flow of milo... ngee ann kongsi really used alot of $$ on open house each year and somemore feb there is another open house right after the release of O level results...






The 2 person on the right hand side is the 2 grand finalist... i think daren will win although he looked like Jeff wong...

Borat is a freaking lame and dirty show... but it's funny... haha... no wonder it's R21... Got full marks for my test and this is a boast for me to achieve an AD for my FM... NP open house tml... taufik batisah is coming at 4pm, project superstar is coming on fri at 6pm ... dance till u drop at 7.30pm... The whole school is turning lively once again...

Driving today was alright except for a particular part when i was turning to make a right turn and the stupid car behind horned at me which made me became panicky. Damn car!!!

Watched the arena and it was a battle between St nicholas Girls' and Methodists Girls'. They were debating about youths now are selfish and self-centred. Well, the way they bring out their stand is good especially MGS. They were confident and poised in delivery their point.

Are youths self-centred?? Do they really do things the way they want it or they did it to benefit others. St nic made a good point where self-centredness may not necessay be negative for example, one person giving him/her seat to the elderly to someone who needs it more. This is a form of self-centredness because he/she did it to made them feel better or to let them feel that they had made a good deed. So actually, self-centredness may not be negative to other people but in turn brings beneficial things to the people around them.

Studies had shown that 70 % students in school had their academic place first against other stuff and it's very true. I myself also put my studies first but that doesn't mean i'm self-centre.In schools, we see people sharing notes and helping one another in studies and that show that althought we placed our studies first, we still want our friends around us to do well also.

In secondary and JCs, we have CIP. Does students really put in effort in helping the poor and the disabled or because it's a compulsory thing they had to do in order to achive good grades or
a merit to enter JC. This is a judgmental question because everyone thinks differently. I can see students doing their flag day to help the poor and the disabled but to my dismay, some were making a fool of it or they were disgusted by doing it. Do they have a choice to say no to CIP?? the answer is no but they still managed to scrape off it. But this is only the minority group as i also have seen students doing their CIP effortlessly. But, is doing CIP a form of self-interest or a form of self-centredness?

So is selfishness and kindness work hand-in-hand??? I dun think so, being kind is another is from u volunterily. U can be mean to other people but u chose not to so people can get helped. But does it mean that because i wanna do it to made my selfish feel better and that i'm selfish??

MGS also made a very good point in saying that. Helping other people is a form of self-interest and not because of self-centredness. We must have a division between self-interest and self-centreness. Being self-centre, means that u are egocentric, egoistic and that u will always place yourself first in everywhere. You give the benefit to yourself instead of other people. But is benfitting other people an act of selfness and self-centredness??? To me, i don't think so.

Self-centred defined as concerned solely or chiefly with one's own interests, welfare, etc.; engrossed in self; selfish; egotistical.

Self-interest defined as regard for one's own interest or advantage, esp. with disregard for others.

So does these two terms means the same or different?? When u are doing something, are u doing it with your interest at heart or are u doing it because u r self-centred??

Went for sunday school today finally after promising benny tons of times to turn but failed. It's good though but the problem is i gonna wake up early... must perserve... I joined the ABC not american-born chinese but adult bible class... haha.. We studied the book of daniel and i find this book of daniel very interesting... Met xin tang and we caught sometime with each other. Rain just couldn't stop...

Met elaine and natalie at heartland mall and ate lunch at hong kong cafe.. Ex but filling... Went for band and it's boring as usual... After band, we went to ikea @ tampines with sze hui and pei rong (my primary school classmate which i dunno at all). Wanted to look for audrey but sad to say, she is not working at the hour. Roamed around the whole place. It's big and the hot dog is nice... maybe i should work at giant, courts or ikea cos it's only 2 stops from my house... so near and the job couldn't be any stressful compared to waitering...

This week gonna be hell lots of tests and assignments to hand in... just pray that lord will guide me thru and let mi pass this week with ease... =)

Now i'm always early for class, kinda weird though but it's better than late... CAD gearbox drawing is really drving me crazy... i wanna die ah... stupid drawing... hate it to the core... SUCKS!! Went for squash today and it was tiring cos daryl made us run like a dog la... really damn tiring... after i rest, i had a game with fee fee then suddenly my leg msucle start to tighten. It's not cramp but i think i had tore my leg muscle... freaking painful until i collapse in the court... limped all my way to changi general hospital to see my grandpa...

Today's driving lesson was good. Now, i'm getting the hang of it. Lesser than average engine stalls. The next lesson, i hope i will get 0 engine stall. Mr Tan said i am getting more and more "zai" (capable) which is a good sign cos initially my legs is kinda retarded as the coordination is bad but now is good... =) Went back to school to finish up my CAD assignment and thankfully it's all completed and now my biggest headache is ED report and AEM quiz tml plus AEM test on thurs... Met up with johnson and we left for yio chu kang sports hall to play badminton with our church pals... had dinner then went back home... gonna try the shuttle service tml with si jiao.. haha

I PASSED MY FINAL THEORY TEST!!!! WOO HOOO!!!! SUPER HAPPY!!! one time and that's it... practical test here i come!!!! for those who is going to take FTT, tips for ya... go for the e-trial test.. lots of questions will appear...

Had squash today and we had a friendly against NJC... It's been a while since i last touch my racket hence i am quite tense with i'm playing against them... the result was expected... i lose... BBRR... gonna train harder now... went back with jeannie and had sometime catching up with each other... =)

From next monday onwards, i will not be late for school anymore cos there is free shuttle service from hougang interchange. For classes which starts at 8am, the bus will depart at 7am and it will reach NP by 7.50am. For classes which starts at 9am, the bus will depart at 8am and it will reach NP by 8.50am. It's specially catered for students who is staying in hougang, sengkang and punggol... cool man.. They should have done that when i'm in year 1 la.. now my year 2 is coming to an end then they came out with such a wonderful service. Now, i can say bb to all the warning letters that i had been receiving since year 1. WOOHOO

Went to nat's house today to dye my house and she helped me to style a new hair style... looks nice on me...

Went for k lunch with gilbert, bj, elaine, pei wen, wee keat and andrew. We shared the same room. It's fun as we haven been k-ing for a long period of time since the departure of kenneth. Been missing all the sings that i wanted to sing. The food was really delicious except for the veggies. Sang till 2 plus and we went chased out. The new staffs were really disappointed in terms of service and attitude. Felt kinda irritated by them. Bj and gilbert left as they had something on

Hence the rest of us went to city hall as andrew wanna buy his stuffs... Wanted to catch a movie at marina square but there wasn't any shows that is worth watching. Roamed around the whole place and then we went to suntec.. Andrew brought an addidas cap which cost like 50 bucks and i try it for a while... i looked so non-chinese... maybe elaine or natalie's blog got more of that pics...

Peiwen left around 9 plus cos she needs to return home while andrew have to go back camp for guard duty so only left wk, nat,elaine and me... We went to esplanade to find a good place to watch fireworks... There were several problems we encountered like the growing amount of crowds and the detouring of routes. But luckily, we managed to find a good place. On the other hand, it started to drizzle and alot of people started to seek for shelter but we din...
