Dear Student, I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered a place in the Common Enhancement Module in AEM1 (Advanced Engineering Mathematics 1), the first in a series of three, as you have consistently excelled in Engineering Mathematics in the past semesters. These AEM modules are offered to dedicated students like you who aim to upgrade academically by pursuing a University degree after the Polytechnic education. The series of AEM modules is designed to provide students with a sound foundation in Mathematics so as to bridge the gap between the Polytechnic Mathematics program and that of the University first year curriculum. The lesson will commence on the third week of the April semester 2006, i.e. the week starting 8 May 2006. It will be conducted on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 7 pm . Your registration will only be secured if a payment of $30/- is received between 17 – 24 April 2006 .
